2 arrested for guilty of defrauding Rs 23.8 million

Kathmandu, May 3

The police have arrested two people who were found guilty of defrauding Rs 26.8 million from 219 people saying they would send them to Japan.

On Friday, the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office publicly disclosed the identities of Narayan Bahadur Rai, also known as Rajan Shrestha, and Parvaraj Pandey, also known as Ishwari Pandey, following their arrest on charges of fraud.

According to the police, they cheated various people by operating a consultancy and sending them to Japan.
