A total of 1kg 160 grams of marijuana, which came by cargo was seized at Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to Chief Customs Administrator, Tok Raj Pandey, the Dillibazar Post Customs Office went to the post customs office after suspicion and during the inspection, the marijuana was recovered.
He said that the seized marijuana parcel was found to have come from the USA. It is ready to be handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau for further investigation.
Customs also seized 55 kg of marijuana from the US on December 16.
