Kathmandu, February 19
President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday has called the first meeting of Federal Parliament, consisting of the National Assembly and the House of Representatives, for Monday, March 5.
The President made the summons following a recommendation from the Prime Minister as per Article 93(1) of the constitution, according to a statement issued by the President’s Office.
The President will also address the first joint meeting of two Houses, according to Article 95(2) of the constitution.
The meeting will take place at the International Convention Centre at 4 pm on March 5.
