
Kathmandu, January 20
Three influential leaders of the main opposition party have held a meeting to discuss the ongoing dispute in the party over the dates of the next general convention.
The party’s vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi and leaders Krishna Sitaula and Prakash Man Singh met at the party’s central office in Sanepa this morning. While Nidhi represents the faction led by president Sher Bahadur Deuba, Singh belongs to the Ram Chandra Paudel-led camp. Sitaula has his own faction in the party.
It has been learned that the meeting was positive. However, it is yet to reach any conclusion.
