Kathmandu, January 17
Police in Kathmandu say they have arrested an Indian national on the charge of flying a drone, from Budhanilakantha of Kathmandu recently.
The 20-year-old Topten Lama from Sikkim, currently residing in Budhanilakantha-3, was arrested. Police say he was flying the drone from the rooftop of his rented apartment here.
In his statement to police, the arrestee said he brought the aircraft for ‘entertainment’ from the Rising Mall in Durbarmarga.
Flying drones is restricted in Nepal.
Further investigation is underway.
