Jhapa, July 12
A woman has been found dead in mysterious circumstances in Birtamod of Jhapa on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sirjana Basnet (25), a resident of Biratmod-5. A staffer of the local Sirjansheel Cooperative, Basnet used to stay with her relatives.
The Anarmani Area Police Office says it has launched an investigation into the case.
SP Sanuram Bhattarai, the chief of the District Police Office, says the law enforcers have also mobilised sniffer dogs in the probe.
