A 21-year-old woman has been found dead in mysterious circumstances at a hotel in Butwal of the Rupandehi district.
The deceased, identified as Sadiksha Gurung (21), checked into the Purvi Palpali Galdhali Hotel on Friday night, but she was found hanging this morning.
A resident of Butwal sub-metropolitan city-2, Gurung had stayed at the hotel together with a man, whose identity has not been released.
Police arrested him for further investigation and sent the body to the Lumbini Provincial Hospital for autopsy.
Further investigation is underway.
