Manang, October 6
A US citizen died after falling off a cliff while visiting Manang, a mountainous district.
The deceased has been identified as 69-year-old Charles Keith Davis.
Davis was on his way to Chame from Lamjung with his wife, guide and porter.
He fell off a cliff as he was trying to remove a rock from the road in Khotrodanda of Naso Rural Municipality.
He fell some 100 meters down onto the Marsyangdi river bank, according to DSP Phanindra Ranabhat.
A police team mobilised from the District Police Office, Chame, rushed him to the District Hospital after rescuing him where he died during treatment.
