Reports prepared by Vice Chairperson Ram Bahadur Thapa and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel were presented at a meeting of the CPN-UML’s Review and Party Reorganisation Task Force on Friday.
Task force coordinator Thapa presented both reports at the meeting held at the party’s central office in Chyasal. He presented one report prepared on behalf of the general secretary and another prepared by himself.
According to Publicity Department chief Niraj Acharya, the task force will study both reports and work towards consolidating them into a single document.
However, Friday’s meeting was adjourned to allow members to study the reports.
“The meeting decided to study both documents presented today and hold further discussions from tomorrow in a residential setting to prepare a single report,” Acharya said.
