Kathmandu, November 24
The Chitwan District Administration Office has decided to close all major roads in Narayangadh of the district including the East-West Highway in the city on Friday, the first day of the 10th general convention of the CPN-UML.
The office decided to halt the vehicular movement to manage the crowd and ensure the safety of the event.
Chief District Officer Asman Tamang says the vehicles coming from the western side of the highway will be stopped in Gaindakot of the neighbouring Nawalpur district whereas those from the eastern side will be stopped at Bharatpur bus terminal.
Likewise, the vehicles coming from the Muglin side will be stopped at Anptari.
The office has requested motorists to cooperate by not using the routes that day.
