Syangja, August 24
Two people were killed and 10 others, including the driver, were injured when an SUV met with an accident in Galyang Municipality-8 of Syangja district on Monday evening.
The SUV, bearing registration number Ga 1 Ja 6534, was travelling from Galyang towards Sangliya in Galyang Municipality-9 when it lost control while ascending a road at around 5:45 pm, according to police.
Two people died at the scene, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Dutta Awasthi, information officer at the District Police Office, Syangja.
The injured, including the driver, have been taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police said they have yet to ascertain the exact number of people travelling in the jeep at the time of the accident.
