The third investment conference begins in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, April 28

The third investment conference ‘Nepal Investment Summit 2024′ has started in Kathmandu.

Finance Minister Barshman Pun said that this conference, which will last for two days, is an important opportunity for investors. He said that many projects in various stages were showcased at this conference.

Welcoming the participants in the opening programme, Finance Minister Pun mentioned that Nepal is a suitable country for investment.

Investors from 55 different countries have participated in the conference. Three hundred and eighty-five people from Nepal participated in the conference.

Similarly, 265 from China, 143 from India, 33 from the United States, 28 from Japan, 14 from the United Kingdom, 13 from Bangladesh, 13 from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and 10 from Germany are participating. According to the Board of Investment, nine people from South Korea, Australia and Malaysia are going to participate in the conference.

There are eight participants from Pakistan, six from Singapore, five each from Qatar and Ghana, and four each from Saudi Arabia, France and Bahrain.

Similarly, three each from Switzerland, Finland, Russia, Austria, Sri Lanka and Colombia have come to Nepal for the conference. It has been confirmed that two people each from the Philippines, Kuwait, Canada, Mauritius, Belarus and Belgium will participate in the conference.

Similarly, Egypt, Norway, Italy, Senegal, Netherlands, Poland, Indonesia, Tajikistan, South Africa, Romania, Mexico and Cyprus also participated in the conference.
