A total of 11 people have been reported dead in an SUV accident in Jajarkot on Monday.
The SUV fell some 200 metres off the road in Chhedagad Municipality in Jajarkot district on Monday. The jeep was on its way to Thalaha.
Out of the 11, nine died on the spot while two died on the way to the hospital, informed SSP Madhav Shrestha, spokesperson of the Provincial Police Office.
The deceased have been identified as Man Bahadur Rawat, Bir Bahadur Khatri, Jaya Kumar Buda, Surendra KC, Amar Bahadur Khadka, Deepak Adhikari, Devisara Buda, Amar Bahadur Adhikari, Ram Bahadur Buda, Nishara Adhikary and Nisha Adhikari.
Jaya Lal Adhikari, critically injured in the accident, was sent to Nepalgunj for treatment.
