Prime Minister Balen Shah has recommended Deepak Kumar Sah, a lawmaker elected from Sunsari-4, for appointment as the new Minister for Industry.
Prime Minister Shah forwarded Sah’s name to the President following the resignation of Industry Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav.
Sah had joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) before the election. He had previously formed his own political party after being expelled from the Janamat Party led by CK Raut.
Sah is currently at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. As a Cabinet meeting is underway, he is reportedly waiting in a room at the Prime Minister’s Office.
