Kathmandu, October 6
Mobile phones, cosmetics and apples worth Rs 1,006,760, brought in from India by evading customs, have been seized in Birgunj, Parsa.
Police seized three Apple iPhone 17 units and one iPhone 15, smuggled in from India, at Gandak Chowk in Birgunj Metropolitan City-14. Police said the phones are worth Rs 552,210.
Separately, cosmetics and apples worth Rs 454,550 were seized from a consignment being smuggled in at Rajatjayanti Chowk in Birgunj Metropolitan City-16.
Police said the total value of all the seized goods is Rs 1,006,760.
