SEE question leakage: Saptari police arrest their own colleagues among six

Kathmandu, April 4

Police in Saptari district of southeastern Nepal on Thursday paraded six persons arrested on the charge of leaking question papers of Secondary Education Examination last week.

Two of them–Brahma Dev Sunrait and Dipendra Kumar Mandal–are police personnel posted at Kalyanpur Area Police Post of the district.

Other four have been identified as Bishnu Dev Yadav, Manoj Yadav, Rajesh Yadav and Umesh Yadav. Manoj is a teacher of a local school.

Police claim that the papers were leaked as Sunrait captured the papers’ pictures and handed them over to Bishnu Dev.

The government has rescheduled the tests across Province 2 after papers of two papers got leaked a day before the respective exams. The rescheduled examination will begin Friday. The pictures were uploaded on social media later.
