The Samsung Galaxy M14 4G is official in Nepal. The smartphone is the continuation of the M series which has been getting quite the attention recently in the budget and mid-range smartphone category. The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G was launched back in March globally and was seen in Nepal a few months later.
The M series in Samsung is called ‘Millennials’ which generally is more battery-focused. The M series smartphone battery performance has been one of the biggest selling points over the years. Samsung’s recent changes in the M series have been favoured by many.

Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy M14 4G has the same universal design as all the Samsung smartphones in the past couple of years. The back has the triple camera setup with the flash just a bit to the right between the first and the second camera ring. The back is made up of plastic and has a shiny finish with light beam-like patterns coming from one point. The frame of the smartphone is flat and is also made of plastic.
The front of the Samsung Galaxy M14 4G is also simple with a water-drop notch to house the selfie camera. The bezels on the top and the chin are a bit thick whereas the ones on the sides are slightly thinner. The display features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The resolution is 1080 x 2400 with a 20:9 ratio delivering around 394 pixel density. The display is large and good for media consumption at the price range.
Performance and Storage
The Samsung Galaxy’s display is paired with a performance chipset, the Snapdragon 680 4G based on a 6nm architecture. Its CPU consists of eight cores, with four cores running at 2.4 GHz (Kryo 265 Gold) for performance-oriented tasks and four cores running at 1.9 GHz (Kryo 265 Silver) for lighter tasks. The GPU Adreno 610, handles graphics processing. It operates on Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 interface. The smartphone is also set to get 2 years of OS upgrades and up to 4 years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy M14 4G is available in two memory options in Nepal; 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. The 4GB RAM option is paired with 64GB of storage whereas the 6GB option is paired with 128GB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy M14 4G has a decent camera performance for the price range. The rear camera features a 50MP main camera with an aperture F1.8. The other two cameras are a 2MP macro camera with an aperture of F2.4 and a 2MP depth camera with an aperture of F2.4. The rear camera features auto-focus but doesn’t have OIS. It also has a digital zoom of up to 10X. For video, it features 1080p video recording at 30 and 60fps and Slow-motion videos in HD at 120fps.
The front camera of the Samsung Galaxy M14 4G features a 13MP camera with F2.0 aperture. The front camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
