Morang, February 23
Three minors died and a woman got injured when a lorry overturned on a road off the main highway at Budhiganga Rural Municipality-4 in Morang district on Friday.
According to DSP Ranjan Kumar Dahal at the District Police Office, Morang, the lorry with registration no RJ 29 GB 1561 from India and carrying marble stones overturned, fatally trampling four-year-olds Isita Adhikari and Nishant Adhikari and eight-year-old Riha Khawas.
Meanwhile, injured in the incident, 60-year-old Jyoti Adhikari is currently undergoing treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital, police said.
DSP Dahal said that police have arrested the lorry’s driver.
