Kathmandu, October 29
Rain has started at the TU International Cricket Ground, where the Nepal Premier League (NPL) is underway. Scattered showers began soon after today’s first match, between Kathmandu Gorkhas and Janakpur Bolts, ended.
The field has been covered with tarpaulin since the rain began. Another match, between Biratnagar Kings and Karnali Yaks, is scheduled for this evening.
The sky over Kathmandu is overcast ahead of that match. The floodlights have also been switched on as the ground grew dark.
