Kathmandu, November 25
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has initiated consultations with former prime ministers, former foreign ministers, and other ministers ahead of his scheduled visit to China.
Discussions on the upcoming visit are taking place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar. Key participants in the meeting include former prime ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal, and interim government chairperson Khil Raj Regmi, among others.
Prime Minister Oli is set to visit China on December 1, a date he announced during a party assembly in Durbar Marg last Friday.
This development comes as Oli, who has been in office for 100 days in his latest tenure, has not yet received an invitation to visit India. In response, he began preparations for a visit to China, culminating in today’s consultation with political leaders and former officials.
