Jaleshwar, November 21
President Bidya Devi Bhandari will be arriving in Jaleshwar of Mahottari district on Monday to pay homage to Baba Jaleshwornath Mahadev in Jaleshwor, the district headquarters of Mahottari.
With the news about the head of state’s scheduled visit here, the Jaleshwor folks seem eager to welcome her here.
The Jaleshwar municipality has built welcome gates at different locations of the town and the temple has been decorated on the eve of the president’s visit.
According to Mayor Ram Shanker Mishra, special preparations are going on to facilitate the president’s visit. Jaleshwar Chamber of Commerce and Industry General Secretary Shiva Chandra Chaudhary says there is a programme of offering civic felicitation and a token of love to the president on behalf of the people of Jaleshwar during her visit to this historic town.
A special task force has been there to take the responsibilities of security arrangements in view of the VVIP visit to the town, says Chief District Officer Basudev Dahal.
The temple of Jaleshwarnath (one of the forms of Lord Shiva) is unique remains underwater all time.
