The Humla District Police Office has seized a large quantity of illegal Chinese liquor.
A team led by DSP Shankar Pokharel of the Humla District Police Office recovered 351 cartons of illegal Chinese liquor from various locations.
DSP Pokharel informed that a total of 4,212 bottles of illegal Chinese liquor were confiscated from different areas.
The liquor was seized from locations including Hilsa checkpoint, Dhad Kermi and Tumkot in Namkha Rural Municipality.

DSP Pokharel stated that the Chinese liquor, valued at NPR 1,684,800 at a rate of NPR 400 per bottle, was seized at midnight on Tuesday.
He also informed that 2,022 liters of abandoned illegal non-consumable Chinese liquor were recovered, which will be destroyed.
