Kathmandu, September 17
Director Maotse Gurung’s film Pension Patta has earned roughly Rs 1.5 crore in gross collections nationwide over its first five days. According to producer-director Gurung, the film had grossed Rs 1,50,13,000 by Tuesday, and continues to do good business.
The film is now set to release internationally as well. It will open in Barcelona, Spain, on September 29, and in several Australian cities from September 21, with Backup Events and D’Boyz Entertainment bringing it to Sydney, other parts of NSW, Brisbane and other cities.
Produced under the Maotse Gurung Films banner, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Gaumaya Gurung and Wilson Bikram Rai, among others. Releases in the US, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, the UK, Korea, Europe and Gulf countries are also being planned.
