Butwal, July 24
Six people have died and 17 were injured in a bus accident in Ribdikot rural municipality in Palpa.
The bus (Lu 1 Ja 5952), going from Gulmi to Butwal, fell some 500 metres from the road at around 5 pm on Sunday evening.
The police say three men and three women have died. The police have not been able to identify them.
According to Lumbini Provincial Police Office’s Inspector Bir Dutta Panta, 16 people have been rescued so far and have been taken to Tansen Hospital for further treatment.
