All major indicators of the Nepal stock market declined on Thursday, with the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index falling 13.85 points to close at 2,531 points.
The benchmark index had dropped 15.43 points on Wednesday.
Turnover also declined to Rs 3.99 billion from Rs 4.19 billion recorded in the previous session.
Shares of 69 companies gained on Thursday, while 201 companies recorded losses and eight remained unchanged.
The Manufacturing and Processing sector recorded the biggest decline, falling 1.14 percent. All other sectoral indices declined by less than 1 percent.
The Banking sector fell 0.47 percent, Development Bank 0.34 percent, Finance 0.66 percent, Hotels and Tourism 0.50 percent, Hydropower 0.55 percent, Investment 0.41 percent, Life Insurance 0.17 percent, Microfinance 0.56 percent, Non-Life Insurance 0.78 percent, Others 0.64 percent and Trading 0.27 percent.
