The Nepali Congress has fixed the fee for delegates attending its 15th General Convention at Rs 3,500.
The convention is scheduled to begin on October 4, with the party expecting around 7,000 delegates to participate.
According to the Central Election Committee, the number of delegates will be more than 2,000 higher than at the previous general convention.
More than 4,700 delegates participated in the 14th General Convention. Under the previous arrangement, 26 delegates were selected from each House of Representatives constituency. This time, following an amendment to the party statute, 33 delegates will be selected from each constituency.
The party will arrange hotel bookings for the delegates, but the delegates themselves will have to pay their accommodation costs.
