Nepal set to face Canada in Tri-Nation T20 Series

Nepal will take on Canada in the Tri-Nation T20I Series on Tuesday. The match is scheduled to start at 9:45 PM Nepali time in King City, Canada.

In their first encounter, Nepal suffered a 14-run defeat against Canada. Chasing a target of 124 runs, Nepal was bowled out for 109 in 15 overs, having been at 88-5 at one stage. Fast bowler Kalim Sana took 4 wickets, while spinner Saad Bin Zafar claimed 3.

Nepal bounced back in their next match, defeating Oman by 37 runs, with Gulshan Jha playing an impressive 40-run inning off 17 balls. For Nepal to secure a win against Canada, Gulshan will need support from Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee.

Openers Aasif Sheikh and Anil Sah will also need to convert their starts into big scores. On the bowling front, spinner Sandeep Lamichhane will lead the attack, with support from Dipendra and Kushal.

So far, Nepal and Canada have faced each other twice in T20Is, with each team securing one win. Before this Tri-Nation Series, Nepal had lost both matches against Canada in the League-2 tournament.

Nepal will play its final game of the Tri-Nation Series against Oman on Wednesday.
