Kathmandu, January 11
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 265,268 as of Monday afternoon.
The ministry says 488 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 5,309 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 987,555 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 4,373 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 258,698 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,927 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 527 people have been discharged whereas 10 deaths have been reported.
Over 250 people are quarantined across the country.
