Kathmandu, January 25
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 269,789 as of Monday afternoon.
The ministry says 339 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 4,858 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 48,113 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 3,240 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 264,538 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,011 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 401 people have been discharged whereas ten deaths have been reported.
Over 100 people are quarantined across the country.
