Kathmandu, January 27
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 270,375 as of Wednesday afternoon.
The ministry says 283 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 4,382 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 57,069 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 3,286 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 265,069 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,020 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 246 people have been discharged whereas three deaths have been reported.
The recovery rate as of today is 98 per cent.
Over 100 people are quarantined across the country.
