Kathmandu, January 10
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 264,780 as of Sunday afternoon.
The ministry says 259 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 3,399 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 978,847 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 4,422 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 258,441 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,917 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 513 people have been discharged whereas five deaths have been reported.
Over 250 people are quarantined across the country.
