Kathmandu, November 21
The government convened a national climate conference in preparation for the imminent COP 28.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and representatives from provincial and local levels are participating in the conference being held at Hotel Radisson in Lazimpat.
At the National Climate Conference organised by the Ministry of Forestry, the government unveiled the National Adaptation Plan and the National Determined Contribution Implementation Plan.
The conference was summoned to ensure substantive engagement on behalf of Nepal in the forthcoming COP 28, with preparations underway for the country’s participation under the leadership of the Prime Minister.
COP 28 is being held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12.
