National Coffee Academy provides barista training to the disabled

Kathmandu, October 21

The National Coffee Academy in coordination with Cordaid and the National Federation of the Disabled- Nepal completed a barista training programme for disabled persons on Friday.

Under the title of Inclusive Barista Training, 10 people with various disabilities received the training. Earlier too, the NCA had conducted such a programme.

The 50-hour programme started on September 15.

“With a motive to empower people with disabilities, we conducted this training,” says Raj Kumar Banjara, the NCA founder. “Along with providing training, we also help them find a job at coffee shops.”
