ANFA and clubs agree to hold National League this year and A Division League next year

Kathmandu, November 4

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the A Division clubs have reached an agreement to organize the National League football tournament this year and the A Division League next year.

Following a meeting between ANFA and the clubs at the ANFA Complex on Monday, it was decided that the National League will be held from December this year to January, and the A Division League will take place next year in a home-and-away format.

Before the National League, the ANFA President’s League will be held in Makwanpur, from which four teams will qualify for the National League.

The National League will feature a total of 10 teams, the top six from the previous A Division League, including Church Boys United Club, Machhindra Football Club, Nepal Police Team, Jawalakhel Youth Club, Satdobato Youth Club, and NRT, along with four teams from the President’s League.

The winner of the National League, which begins on December 24, will qualify to participate in the AFC Challenge League.
