Kathmandu

Midea has introduced its latest Xtreme Plus Inverter AC in Nepal, marking its entry into AI-powered cooling solutions. The product was officially launched at an event in Kathmandu by Rajesh Hamal, in the presence of industry representatives, business partners, and media.

The new model integrates a DC inverter and artificial intelligence technology to deliver energy-efficient cooling and heating for all seasons. According to the company, the system can reduce electricity consumption by up to 75 per cent, supported by real-time usage tracking through a mobile application.

The air conditioner also features smart control functions, allowing users to operate it via smartphones, tablets, smart speakers, and other devices, including voice commands and pre-cooling options.

Designed for Nepal’s conditions, the unit operates within a wide voltage range of 90V to 265V, addressing frequent power fluctuations. It is also built to function in extreme temperatures of up to 55°C.

Additionally, the AC includes Air Magic Technology, aimed at improving indoor air quality by reducing airborne bacteria and viruses.

Midea Nepal said the launch reflects its commitment to bringing advanced, energy-efficient technologies to the domestic market and strengthening its presence in the country.
