On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Women Empowerment Committee of the Film Development Board is organising a three-day program titled “Women in Film.”
The event, which will run from March 12 to March 14, will feature the screening of the classic 1930s Nepali film Kumari on the first day.
On March 13, the program will screen Jiwan Kada Ki Phool, a film based on the life of writer Jhamak Kumari Ghimire. The event will conclude on March 14.
Apart from guests, filmmakers and film students interested in watching the films can contact the board to attend free of charge.
Admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, with free entry for the first 50 attendees.
