A 50-year-old man has been arrested on the charge of raping a four-year-old girl in the Kanchanpur district of Sudurpaschim.
The arrestee is Karan Singh, a resident of Parkhedi, Bhimdutta municipality-16 of the Kanchanpur district. He was arrested on Saturday night.
Police say Singh raped his neighbourhood girl at his own house under the influence of alcohol recently.
A team deployed from the District Police Office and the Majhagaun Temport Polcie Beat arrested him.
Further investigation is underway.
