Applications have opened for Nepali workers seeking employment as caregivers for people of all ages with severe disabilities at long-term care centres in Israel.
According to a notice issued by the Department of Foreign Employment, a total of 1,464 workers are being sought, including 1,132 women and 332 men.
Applicants must be at least 25 years old and not older than 45. Interested candidates can apply online from midnight on September 8 until 11:59 pm on October 12.
Applications can be submitted through the Department of Foreign Employment’s website at ferms.dofe.gov.np.
Selected workers will receive a monthly salary of 6,443.85 Israeli shekels. According to the notice, overtime benefits will also be provided in accordance with Israeli government regulations.
Workers will be required to work 42 hours per week and will receive one day off per week. Annual leave will be provided in accordance with Israeli law.
