Kathmandu, March 13
To bring art, artists, art writers, the art market and society together, In Art World in association with Akar Art Center and Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industries is organising an international art workshop ‘Kalashala’ in Kathmandu.
According to Anita Bhattarai, coordinator of the workshop, 120 artists from Nepal, India, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Iran and the UAE will participate in the workshop, which is scheduled from March 15 to March 18.
An exhibition will be organised at the Airport Hotel, Kathmandu including painting, sculpture, printmaking and digital art.
Bhattarai said that 50 per cent of the proceeds from the exhibition will be used to support HIV-infected children studying in Safalta HIV Sikshya Sadan.
