Indian Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth has handed over medical supplies to the Nepali Army.
According to Army Headquarters, Seth handed over both medical and military supplies. He had earlier also planted a tree at Army Headquarters.
A courtesy meeting also took place at Army Headquarters between Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel and Seth. Army Headquarters said the two discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations during the meeting.
Seth arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday at the invitation of Chief of Army Staff Sigdel and laid a wreath at the military venue in Tundikhel. He then received a guard of honour at Army Headquarters.
President Ramchandra Paudel also conferred on Seth the honorary rank insignia of General of the Nepali Army.
