Siraha, October 25
The Armed Police Force has seized goods worth around Rs 772,620 from various border areas of Siraha.
During operations carried out in different border areas of the district, the force seized motorcycles, liquor, groceries, cosmetics and clothing, among other items, it said.
The estimated value of the seized goods is Rs 772,620, according to the Armed Police Force. The process of completing the necessary formalities and handing the goods over to the concerned agency is under way.
Armed Police Force Superintendent (SP) Suman Jung Thapa of Siraha said the force has continued surveillance and checks to control the smuggling of illegal goods across the border and to make border security arrangements more effective.
