After floodwater rose in the Manohara River, Home Minister Sudan Gurung went out to inspect the situation.
The Home Ministry’s secretariat said he visited the flood-affected area near Chyasal a short while ago.
Minister Gurung visited the riverbank near the CPN-UML central office.
Water levels in several rivers across Kathmandu have risen following continuous rainfall, and government agencies have urged people to remain alert.
