Kathmandu, August 23
The price of gold rose by Rs 2,800 per tola on Sunday.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations has set the day’s gold price at Rs 319,500 per tola, up from Rs 316,700 the previous day. Over the past week, gold prices have risen by Rs 14,300; last Sunday, gold was priced at Rs 305,200 per tola.
Silver prices fell by Rs 10 per tola, dropping to Rs 4,975 from Rs 4,985 the previous day. Last Sunday, silver stood at Rs 4,710 per tola.
