The price of gold fell by Rs 1,600 per tola on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 193,500 per tola for the day, down from Rs 195,100 on Tuesday. On August 7, gold had reached a record high of Rs 199,400 per tola.
The price of silver also declined. It dropped by Rs 45 per tola, falling from Rs 2,300 on Tuesday to Rs 2,255 today.
