The price of gold has declined for the third consecutive day of this week in the domestic market. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 241,900 per tola (11.66 grams), dropping by Rs 11,600 per tola compared to the previous rate.
It further decreased by Rs 2,000 per tola on Monday and today it fell again by Rs 2,900, bringing the price down to Rs 237,000 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Similarly, the price of silver dropped by Rs 60 per tola compared to Monday and is now set at Rs 2,920 per tola. In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 3,975 per ounce.
