Kathmandu, October 6
Nepali Congress leader and current party president Gagan Kumar Thapa has registered his candidacy for the party presidency.
Thapa filed his nomination at Bhrikutimandap, where the party’s General Convention is currently underway. Earlier, Shyam Krishna Khadgi had also registered his candidacy for the post of party president.
The Nepali Congress is holding its General Convention to elect a new leadership and Central Working Committee.
