Kathmandu, September 29
Police have arrested a fugitive convict who had been sentenced to 20 years in prison for murder.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested 60-year-old Rajkumar Shrestha of Kathmandu.
Shrestha had been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the murder of a person. He had been serving his sentence when he escaped from Sundhara Prison during the Gen Z movement.
CIB spokesperson Anupam Shumsher JBR said Shrestha has been sent back to prison following his arrest.
