Kathmandu, July 25
Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to hold a press conference on Friday.
According to a leader close to her, the press meet will take place at 3 pm at Karki Banquet in Kathmandu.
The leader informed that the press conference has been organised to share her views on the recent developments following the decision of the CPN-UML Central Committee meeting.
The party had recently decided to bar Bhandari from re-entering active politics. Citing provisions in the party statute and the national constitution, UML concluded that her party membership could not be renewed.
