Kathmandu, November 26

The express bus service on the Ratnapark-Suryabinayak route, which was suspended after running for a month, has resumed from Sunday.

To make the service more efficient, 11 more buses have been added to the route taking the total number of buses to 36.

These buses run from 8.30 am to 10.30 am and 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm every day every three minutes.

Earlier, these buses used to leave at an interval of five minutes and ran between 9 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 6 pm.

To enhance passenger accessibility to their destinations, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport introduced an express bus service on September 20, on the occasion of Constitution Day. However, the service proved ineffective and was subsequently suspended within a month.

Now, the more buses added to the route and the timings revised, the Ministry feels the service will become more efficient.
