Kathmandu, July 18

Ruling and opposition parties have agreed that the government will table all ordinances issued by the KP Sharma Oli government after the dissolution of the House of Representatives on May 22.

The agreement was made during a meeting of the House’s Business Advisory Committee ahead of the first meeting of the reinstated House on Sunday.

During the meeting, the main opposition CPN-UML had demanded that all the ordinances be tabled seeking a decision, informs the party’s chief whip Bishal Bhattarai.

The Oli government had issued 14 ordinances in this period.

As the government will table these ordinances in the first meeting of the House today, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will seek a vote of confidence in the second meeting to be held in the evening.
